Phyllis Stakem

Phyllis was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, raised and educated in the Washington D.C. area. She and Jim moved to Loudoun County Virginia in 1978. She recieved a Real Estate license in 1982 and a Real Estate Brokers license in 1987. Initally associated with Mount Vernon Realty, she recieved almost every award the company offered including the company's prestigious Chairman's club award in 1985 & 1986! She has also been a Top producer in Both the Dulles & Northern Virginia Association of Realtors as well as recieving, along with her husband Jim,  the Broker Owner of the Year Award from the RE/MAX Central Atlantic Region in 1997!

Jim Stakem

Jim is a lifetime resident of the Washington D.C. area. He volunteered for the USMC and served from 1966 - 1969, serving in Vietnam in 1967 & 1968! He also spent 9 years as an FAA Air Traffic Control Specialist at BWI International Airport and the WARTCC in Leesburg Va. prior to joining Phyllis in Real Estate in 1983. Jim received his Brokers license in 1988.

Jim & Phyllis opened their first office in 1987 and have developed the company into the most respected office in the area.

Although proud of their Real Estate successes they are most proud of their 33 year marriage and 3 children, JJ, a Marine pilot who has served 2 tours in Iraq! Christine, a Special Education Teacher in Richmond Va.! and Kathleen, a Education Major at James Madison University!
